Photography prices

Our pricing policy is designed to be simple and transparent — there are no hidden charges.

Session fees are payable by cash or cheque at the end of the session.

What you get

At Oxford Photostudio we believe that the photos from your session belong to you, the customer. This is why we provide you with a CD of high resolution images from each session (while most studios keep the originals in order to sell you prints later).

What you get

  • High resolution images — A CD of 100+ high resolution images (most studios keep the images to sell you prints later).
  • Professional quality edits — 20+ of the best images from each session, edited to a professional standard. High resolution, perfect for printing.
  • Ready-for-web images — The edited images in medium resolution for your convenience. Easier to upload or email to friends.
  • There are no watermarks or copy restrictions on the CD. The quoted price is all you pay. No hidden costs for the release of prints or digital images.

First you get a selection of 20+ of the best images from the session, selected by the photographer. These images are ready for you to print at home or with a photo printing service up to large format prints. Click here for an example of an edited image or read the editing page for details of the process.

A typical hour-long photo session produces over 100 original images. Many are similar and the best are selected for editing as described above. But on the CD we also give you all the original images from the session. These are your images and you can use them as you like (though we always recommend editing before printing).

There are no watermarks on the images and no copy protection features on the CD. The price quoted for the session is all you pay. There are no hidden costs for the release of prints or digital images. There is no catch.

Compare our prices

We believe our prices to be very competitive and we'd encourage you to compare them with other offers. Make sure to take into consideration the size, quality and number of prints you will ultimately want and whether you'll need digital, high resolution images. Many studios have a low session fee, but then charge much more for the resulting prints or digital images.
